The Cougar

This beautiful animal is also called a Mountain- Lion, Puma or Panther. No matter what you call it, it is a beautiful cat. As with most cats, balance is a large part of their energy.

Even small house cats and bobcats have a superior sense of balance. This balance is not just in how they pounce but in how they teach us to live with this energy.

Cougar medicine people are either born with , or develope a spiritual knowledge. Shamen are often of Cougar medicine people. Cougar people are psychic, or at the least intuitive. Many

Cougar people are artistic.  Being able to look at something and see so much more than many other people can see, by looking at the same object.

Cougar people are natural leaders. They lead with balance, responsibility, and strength. They are leaders because people are drawn to them, and choose to follow them. Rather than by force of will.

Some attributes associated with Cougar people are, strength, patience, self assurance and stealth.

If you are somehow fortunate enough to watch a cougar as it stalks it prey, you will need the same patience that the cougar has.

It can sit still and silent for a long time just watching and waiting for the perfect moment. It will not be deterred by distractions. The cougar will wait as long as it takes and then strike so quickly, you will likely not see it move until it has its prey.

Cougar people see opportunity, and know exactly when to leap at it. Some may consider cougar people as shy of stand offish, others see them as great leaders.
