Tribal Tattoos

This blog will try to cover most of the common tattoo designs. There will be many that I haven’t been able to find any information on.

Not all designs will have any tribal meaning. Some will be just designs that an artist has rendered and has had made into a tattoo.

Many tattoo designs will have meaning in other cultures. I will try to touch on these meanings. While I have tried to make this tribal, there are many groups that use tattoos to identify their group. These groups aren’t necessarily tribal, but are a group of people who identify with each other, so could get considered a tribe.

I will try to give credit to artists who have created a design if I can find the information. This information isn’t always available.

Some of the designs will have different meanings to different tribes. I have tried to give the information that is available as far as what each tat might mean to different groups.
