The skull tattoo can mean many different things. Depending on who has it. It means what the wearer wants it to mean.

The Eagle Tattoo
Of course, anyone can get an eagle tattoo. To really earn an eagle tattoo, one needs to put in much work on one’s inner selves. To have the gift, of clear vision, will take much work on one’s self.

French explorers and missionaries in Eastern Canada, did leave us some information about some of the tribal tattooing in North America.
While these records are mainly from the Huron tribe, I think it’s safe to say that most of the North American Native tribes did their tattooing in a similar manner.

While this is about tattooing, and not a history lesson in the native American nations, tribes and clans. It’s difficult to discuss one without getting into the other.

Tribal Tattooing
Not all Native American or Indian tribes had specific tattooing. Also many groups that are not Indian or Native American tribes have tattooing in their group.
Tattoos can be put on just about any body part.
